My Logo about me

Today we were learning about ourselves by making a logo about what we like doing and our favorite hobby during manaklani time and finishing time. I really enjoyed doing this activity in manaklani because like telling people about me.

I found it hard to make my name fit because everything else about me was in the way so that made it hard to group stuff to move it away without it being a disaster. And I also found it hard to polyline the netball because I was trying to make it look like a silver fern netball. I also found it hard to find images of silver ferns because I was finding some that looked easy to polyline but their were none so I had to go with a normal one and not polyline it because I knew that it was going to be to hard to do.

I found it easy to find a gymnastics girl to polyline because when I typed in png it came up with some really good images of gymnastics girls that could be easy to polyline.I also found it easy to polyline my crystale ( I really like crystals ) because I used a tool to make it really well and make it look real.

Next time I will make my images of my hobbies all together instead of a bit far apart. I really enjoyed doing this activity. I will also add a little more detail about me.

Te Huarere ( the weather forecast )

Today for the Maniaklain summer journey we had to listen to audios on a slide about the weather forecast .

We had to listen to the adious that were in maori. After that on another slide we had to create the sentence in to the right sentence that was in maori that said He aha te tohu huarere ? that means what is the weather forecast ? 

On the last slide it said He something rangi. Where it said "something" we had to write the weather forecast and  I did rain and cloudy and fine. After that we had to insert a image off what the weather forecast looked like ! 

I  found it hard to do the maori sentence because it was hard to work out. 

I found it easy to understand the words on the audio because it was read nice a clearly.

Today for the summer learning journey we had to make a copy of a slide talking about what we are going to do today. We had to fill in a grid The question was what we are doing today? But the words in  maori so that made it a bit more challenging but luckily there was a audio and I could listen to it and write it down so do me that made me a bit easyha. Today the thing that is what I'm doing is I will be selling Awapuni School cook books !

This year in Cybersmart we have been learning about so many tools and skills and even some mindset work when we are learning!

Some of my favourite things that I've learned to do include quilty stems and good quality comments when I comment on someone's blog.

Some of the things that have been the most challenging are doing screencastify because I found it hard to remember all the words on my script. Now that is why I have to have one chromebook open with the script.

Some things I wish we had learned about that we didn't, or learned more about are how to do more short cuts with your keys on your chromebook. I also wanted to have one the writowike!

When we made our review, I was thinking about having a really good screencastify with lost of information.

I love doing onlinene activities like this!

Quote

Today we were learning about how we can post a famous quote from the inter net but by stealing words from the quote to make your own.

I found it easy to  make the them a bit classic not to much all over the show.

I found it hard to design what quote I want because there was so many cool one that I could not design.

Next time I will have two quotes that will say follow your dreams they know the way.

Postcard 2

Today we were learning how we can designing a postcard. we were aloud to post it to who ever we wanted to but I did it to my friend Tilly.

I found it easy to find the correct background that will look like I was under water.I also found ti easy to find a good shark that will look like it was under water.I also found it easy to remove the background.

I found it hard to take a photo of myself because it was hard to do the angle to get my whole body in the photo to look like I was swimming.

Next time I will make the post stamp more detailed and I will have a bit more information in my writing.Next time I will also have some fish in their till it is more detailed.

   

Grace is interviewing me

Today for Maninakaline maih we had to find a buddy in our corpitive group to work with and I worked with Grace.Grace was interviewing me.She was asking me what my favorite hobby is and I said soccer.

First Mrs Williams set up a google doc and we had to fill out the stuff about our hobby and why we liked and how we got into it .We had to do a screencastify about it on a video.My buddy Grace did not want to be in the video but she still is.My favorite part was when Grace interviewed me and I answered the questions,I also liked telling you guys what I like.I hope you liked it :)

Pohutukawa Group

 Today we had to created a book with our little group.My group was called Pohutukawa.First we had to make 5 slides for each of us one for the title is well.The video is about Scratch.On my slide there is a link to Scratch so you can go and cheek it out.For me it was a bit hard to make the slides portrait because that is what we had to have.In my group my there names where Grace,Baxtor,Lory and Me Tiana.I hope you like our slides :)

 Today I made a cool game on Scratch.It tells stuff about me.

How You Can Add A Sprite On Scratch

 Today I was learning how I can show you to add a sprite on Scratch

I had to use screencastify to take this video 

It was a bit hard for me to chose out of if I show you how to do the sprite or the backdrop  but  I choose the sprite 

I think my next video I will show you how to do the backdrop.

We were learning about how we can make a good comment on peoples mahi (work)

I found it easy to use wordart witch can change the title into something cool.

I found it challenging to talk about what positive and thoughtful and helpful means in my words.

Next time I will get creative and tell more of what positive and thoughtful and helpful means.

Animal In Trouble

We were learning about how we can have an animal in trouble when one side of the body is on fire.

I found it easy to add the fire to my snake and crop my image.

I found it challenging to find the perfect snake and work together in my group.

Next time I will do another animal witch would be a dragon.

We were learning about how we can say a good positive comment on a buddy's blog.

I found it easy to take a screenshot of my comment and put it in a google drawings.

I found it challenging to use positive and thoughtful and helpful in my comment.

Next time I will make a calm background.

I found it easy to explain where their work was on my buddy's blog.
I found it challenging to use screencastify and upload it in a google slide and use the little flash button for you to see were I was pointing.

Hi my name is Tiana and I am 9 years old and I go to Awapuni School.My mums name is Anita and my  dad's name is Ash.I was born in Auckland in  Pukekohe and I was living there for 4 years.Now I moved to Gisborne.


My goal  for this year is trying to get the shield and  to get better at my maths.I really enjoy hanging out with friends and doing writing.I am good at surfing with the big waves (witch i love).
