Venn Diagram about 2 different New Zealand athletes

Today during reading my group ( Atawhai) Had to take notes about 2 different New Zealand Athletes. Then we had to make a venn diagram about what they have in common and what there differences are. The 2 New Zealand athletes I choose was Chad Adair and Sarah Ulmer,have you heard of those New Zealand athletes before? While I was finding my 2 athletes I learned that there is 212 NZ athletes,cool right? 

I really enjoyed learning about the athletes because I don't really know much about athletes. I also really enjoyed comparing the 2 athletes to see if they had anything in common or not in common. I also really enjoyed making my venn diagram colorful and choosing different colors for every sentence.

I found it easy to make it colorful and take notes about the athletes because when I typed it up on goggle it came up with a lot off facts about New Zealand athletes. Also we had to do a wordsearch and see how long you did it for the amount of time I did it for was 164 seconds have a try for yourself here see if you can beat me. We did the word search about Kelly holmes you will see I did a blog post about Kelly Holmes.  

I found it hard to choose what athletes to choose because there were so many different New Zealand athletes to choose from. The reason I chose them is because since they both did biking I think they might have some things in common. I think that learning about them were very interesting because I don't know how its like being an athlete,but I really like running.

Next time I'm going to level up and do more facts about them and maybe do 4 New Zealand athletes to see if any of them have more things in common with Chad and Sarah. What do you think I should do to level up?  

 

Bubble life

Today during lockdown at bubble school I made a bubble life recount about being locked up at home and not being able to do anything at all!! Mind you we have all been a bubble before so you already know how it feels like but this is my story about being well stuck in jail almost! The thing that I enjoyed while making my piece of writing is I liked to make kidda funny at the same time and I liked describing what I was doing during lockdown. The easy thing is that I have done hardly anything during lockdown,I mean we have gone on walks and that's about it so I could just write something like that. The hard thing was writing because I didn't know what to write about,also the thing that I found during lockdown was to find things to do. In the future I think I should do more writing about my lockdown even though it was boring. 

Comic about Bullys

Today we were learning about to make a comic on a new website that we haven't used before. 

I enjoyed making my own character and making a comic because I haven't done one before I also enjoyed how many cool backgrounds there were but I didn't like how some of the really good ones were locked so you can't use them.

I found it easy to use the comice website because there were easy instructions.

I found it hard to choose what background because most of them were locked and same with the characters and it also took a long time to load.

Next time I will make a comic about something different instead of bullies,also try out different sites on how to make comics

Mountain Safety

Today we were learning how to make a poster about mountain safety. I learnt about mountain safety from a book in reading.

I found it easy to find a person hiking on a mountain for my photo. I also found it easy to read the book and find some mountain safety tips. ( Tip if you want an image with no background just add at the end of your word PNG it will get you a photo with no background that you were looking for )

I found it hard to find a background that will suit my writing and title. I also found it hard to choose what background because I could only use a color for my background not an image.

Next time I will come up with my own ideas of mountain safety in my own words. Also I will add some more images explaining my poster.

Earthquake Animation

Today we were learning about how to create an animation  about a earthquake.

I found it easy to build the buildings in my animation and to post my animation on my blog. 

I found it hard to work with my buddy because we came up with really different Ideas and that we didn't agree but In the end me made a really good animation.

Next time I will polyline the wave and add people drop,cover and hold in the animation.

My Logo about me

Today we were learning about ourselves by making a logo about what we like doing and our favorite hobby during manaklani time and finishing time. I really enjoyed doing this activity in manaklani because like telling people about me.

I found it hard to make my name fit because everything else about me was in the way so that made it hard to group stuff to move it away without it being a disaster. And I also found it hard to polyline the netball because I was trying to make it look like a silver fern netball. I also found it hard to find images of silver ferns because I was finding some that looked easy to polyline but their were none so I had to go with a normal one and not polyline it because I knew that it was going to be to hard to do.

I found it easy to find a gymnastics girl to polyline because when I typed in png it came up with some really good images of gymnastics girls that could be easy to polyline.I also found it easy to polyline my crystale ( I really like crystals ) because I used a tool to make it really well and make it look real.

Next time I will make my images of my hobbies all together instead of a bit far apart. I really enjoyed doing this activity. I will also add a little more detail about me.

What I learnt About UV

Today we were learning about to make a Uv poster about what we learnt about Uv and we only had 45 minutes to complete our Uv poster.

I found it hard to use the moto which is this recording app that records what you are saying, I found it to use moto because the app mote was not allowed on google drawings and that I couldn't insert it as an audio.

I found it easy to find the pictures and insert it on my google drawing. I also found it easy to listen to the inscrountens and to finish in 45 minutes.

Next time I will not speed to much time making font all pretty and have a little bit more writing about what the Uv means. I will try next time to add mote and ask the teacher for help and also ask why my google drawing is blurry when I post.

What are you doing today? ( Maori )

Today for the summer learning journey we had to make a copy of a slide talking about what we are going to do today. We had to fill in a grid The question was what we are doing today? But the words in  maori so that made it a bit more challenging but luckily there was a audio and I could listen to it and write it down so do me that made me a bit easyha. Today the thing that is what I'm doing is I will be selling Awapuni School cook books !

My instinct Brownie

Today for manianakaliane for the online holiday program for learning! We had to create our own insecte or place using basic thing like twigs,flowers,leaves and petals.

I made and instinct that is called Brownie I made the body out of brown twigs and I made the eyes out off appecorns. The great part about it is that it b summer to everyone and It pops out summer leaves like pohutukawa leaves ! My instinct lives till 13 years old and can grow as long as 30 cm long! 

I'm really happy about my instinct and I really liked how it was really creative! 

 

Gaming control

 Today at writing we had to make out own poster.We were learning about how we can persuade someone.

My poster is about a gaming control that has a tooth brush food and drinks so you can never leave your game when you are in a middle of something awesome ! 

I found it easy to get images from the internet and connect them all together.

I found it hard to have a good background because I did not what to choose a background because  the images would show the background of their images so that is why next time I upload an image from the web I need to put PNG 

Next time will not have a dark background I will have a light background.

Twelve days of christmas ( Song)

Today we were learning about how we can make our own  song with our little group about the twelve day of christmas.  
I found it easy to discuss what we are going to write for the song about something we do in New Zealand 
I found it hard to choose a good background because my group were not agreeing to what background so we had a view slides each to choose what background we would like.
Next time I will change the font to make it look better so you can read my groups work better 

One moment in time

 Today we were learning about how we can retell what happen in a video of one moment in time  using descriptive words

I found it easy to watch the video and describe what happened with the squirrel and the hawk.

I found it hard to choose what character I would be it was out of the hawk or the squirrel.

Next time I will not make my background to out there.

What christmas means to me

Today we were learning about to make a slideshow and a piece of writing about what christmas means to me and do a slideshow around what christmas means to me.

I found it easy to create the slide with the images that will be in the slide by having them all created into one big thing.

I found it hard to look up an image of a girl to be me because I always had to crop the image. 

Next time I will make the slides more detail and by not having to many crazy backgrounds.

Quote

Today we were learning about how we can post a famous quote from the inter net but by stealing words from the quote to make your own.

I found it easy to  make the them a bit classic not to much all over the show.

I found it hard to design what quote I want because there was so many cool one that I could not design.

Next time I will have two quotes that will say follow your dreams they know the way.

Acrossment poem about fireworks

Today we were learning about how we can make an acrossment poem about fireworks  

I found it easy to find the right background that looks a bit classic not all over the show. I did that so when you read my poem you won't get distracted by the background.

I found it hard to make it look tidy nice and pretty with the letters looking a  bit nicer with a bit of color in thier.

Next time I will make it more describing the fireworks a bit more of how did it sound like.

My reflection about the fireworks : My teachers were holding up some sparkles the sparkles were colden and they were moving fast. While you were holding the sparkles you could move it any tip of angle you wanted. The sparkles smelt like smoke like gunpowder.We were doing this for Guy Fawkes.

  

Postcard 2

Today we were learning how we can designing a postcard. we were aloud to post it to who ever we wanted to but I did it to my friend Tilly.

I found it easy to find the correct background that will look like I was under water.I also found ti easy to find a good shark that will look like it was under water.I also found it easy to remove the background.

I found it hard to take a photo of myself because it was hard to do the angle to get my whole body in the photo to look like I was swimming.

Next time I will make the post stamp more detailed and I will have a bit more information in my writing.Next time I will also have some fish in their till it is more detailed.

   

Term 3 wrap

Today we had free time because it was the last day of term 3.I made a term 3 wrap.on the term 3 wrap it is all of the stuff we did fun this year.We did a kapa haka performance,a hangi,we went to Wild Lab and had the Awapuni School Fun Run.My favirote event was the fun run because you got covered in colorful powder.My least favirote was Wild Lab because we got wet from the rain.

My scratch game

Today we were learning about how we can make an scratch animation on scratch.My work is showing that we need to kill all these other animals that are pests to keep our native birds safe.

I found it easy to make the backdrops change in the codes.I also found it easy to help other people by telling them what they could do,I liked doing the backdrops.

I found it hard to make the boy move and to make the gun shot but that was a fail because I did not know how to do that.I also found it hard to understand other people when they told me what I should do to there scratch game.

Next time I will make the bunny and the bat and the rabbit move,not just the boy.

New Zealand Birds

 Today we were learning about native birds and endemic birds and introduced birds.We were finding out the meaning of the words,and learning about New Zealand birds.

I found it easy to polyline my bird witch was a parrot.I found it easy to listen to the video and write down what it said but in my own words.

I found it hard to work with my group and tell them what we could do next.I also found it hard to learn about the endemic and learn about what it is and what is it about the birds.

Next time I will help my group with there work of them polyline and I will add more information about the endemic.

My Hobbies

On this slide it is showing you what my hobbies are.I love to run and I love to eat sushi because it is my favorite food,I even learnt how to make sushi.I also love sleeping because it is just that time that you can relax and calm down and have great dreams.I love surfing because you get outside in the nice hot sunshine and I play in the waves.I love gymnastics because you get to learn these really cool moves on the ground and on bars.I love going to the mall because there is so much interesting things to see and buy.I love tv because you can watch movies and youtube and you can sometimes learn about new stuff on some shows.I love presents because it is always a mystery of what your going to get you never no you could get a PS5.I love Rainbows End because there is so many rides you can choose from,like there are some scary rides and there are some boring and there are awesome rides.I like Mcdonalds because there is so much food you can choose from,there are so much different flavors of drinks I really like the burges,I like the cheese burgers.
