Te Huarere ( the weather forecast )

Today for the Maniaklain summer journey we had to listen to audios on a slide about the weather forecast .

We had to listen to the adious that were in maori. After that on another slide we had to create the sentence in to the right sentence that was in maori that said He aha te tohu huarere ? that means what is the weather forecast ? 

On the last slide it said He something rangi. Where it said "something" we had to write the weather forecast and  I did rain and cloudy and fine. After that we had to insert a image off what the weather forecast looked like ! 

I  found it hard to do the maori sentence because it was hard to work out. 

I found it easy to understand the words on the audio because it was read nice a clearly.

Today for the summer learning journey we had to make a copy of a slide talking about what we are going to do today. We had to fill in a grid The question was what we are doing today? But the words in  maori so that made it a bit more challenging but luckily there was a audio and I could listen to it and write it down so do me that made me a bit easyha. Today the thing that is what I'm doing is I will be selling Awapuni School cook books !

My instinct Brownie

Today for manianakaliane for the online holiday program for learning! We had to create our own insecte or place using basic thing like twigs,flowers,leaves and petals.

I made and instinct that is called Brownie I made the body out of brown twigs and I made the eyes out off appecorns. The great part about it is that it b summer to everyone and It pops out summer leaves like pohutukawa leaves ! My instinct lives till 13 years old and can grow as long as 30 cm long! 

I'm really happy about my instinct and I really liked how it was really creative!

 I did this comment to Kaysha blogs I did this comment because he did an awesome blog post of a  polyline of a reindeer! 

 I did think my comment was positive,thoughtful and helpful because for positive I told Kaysha what I really like and what was awesome about it and I said a greetings ! For thoughtful I made a connection because I know why Kaysha would be posting a reindeer to his blog because Christmas in coming and reindeers are something to do with Christmas, so I made a connection. For something helpful I told Kaysha what he should do next time to make better and to make a new step and to add more detail so the reader understands what its about !

Gaming control

 Today at writing we had to make out own poster.We were learning about how we can persuade someone.

My poster is about a gaming control that has a tooth brush food and drinks so you can never leave your game when you are in a middle of something awesome ! 

I found it easy to get images from the internet and connect them all together.

I found it hard to have a good background because I did not what to choose a background because  the images would show the background of their images so that is why next time I upload an image from the web I need to put PNG 

Next time will not have a dark background I will have a light background.

Twelve days of christmas ( Song)

Today we were learning about how we can make our own  song with our little group about the twelve day of christmas.  
I found it easy to discuss what we are going to write for the song about something we do in New Zealand 
I found it hard to choose a good background because my group were not agreeing to what background so we had a view slides each to choose what background we would like.
Next time I will change the font to make it look better so you can read my groups work better 

Art

Today we were learning about how we can use a new app could Art Coloring 

I found it easy to use the right tools and to know what size I should put the colourings.

I found it hard to chose what colors but I chose pastels colors because they are my favorite colors.

Next time I will chose a harder image to color in!

This year in Cybersmart we have been learning about so many tools and skills and even some mindset work when we are learning!

Some of my favourite things that I've learned to do include quilty stems and good quality comments when I comment on someone's blog.

Some of the things that have been the most challenging are doing screencastify because I found it hard to remember all the words on my script. Now that is why I have to have one chromebook open with the script.

Some things I wish we had learned about that we didn't, or learned more about are how to do more short cuts with your keys on your chromebook. I also wanted to have one the writowike!

When we made our review, I was thinking about having a really good screencastify with lost of information.

I love doing onlinene activities like this!

One moment in time

 Today we were learning about how we can retell what happen in a video of one moment in time  using descriptive words

I found it easy to watch the video and describe what happened with the squirrel and the hawk.

I found it hard to choose what character I would be it was out of the hawk or the squirrel.

Next time I will not make my background to out there.

What christmas means to me

Today we were learning about to make a slideshow and a piece of writing about what christmas means to me and do a slideshow around what christmas means to me.

I found it easy to create the slide with the images that will be in the slide by having them all created into one big thing.

I found it hard to look up an image of a girl to be me because I always had to crop the image. 

Next time I will make the slides more detail and by not having to many crazy backgrounds.

The names of the shapes in Maori

Today we were learning about how we can make a presentation to show you how to learn the maori names of the shapes. 

I  found it easy to make the theme glitter because all I needed to do was press the background button and choose a background witch was glitter.

I found it hard to write the maori names off the shapes because that means I have to go back onto another tab and copy the name onto my slide which takes longer.I also found it hard to say the names of the shapes in maori because im trying to learn them too.

Next time i will add more basic shapes as the images not all colourful. 

Quote

Today we were learning about how we can post a famous quote from the inter net but by stealing words from the quote to make your own.

I found it easy to  make the them a bit classic not to much all over the show.

I found it hard to design what quote I want because there was so many cool one that I could not design.

Next time I will have two quotes that will say follow your dreams they know the way.

Acrossment poem about fireworks

Today we were learning about how we can make an acrossment poem about fireworks  

I found it easy to find the right background that looks a bit classic not all over the show. I did that so when you read my poem you won't get distracted by the background.

I found it hard to make it look tidy nice and pretty with the letters looking a  bit nicer with a bit of color in thier.

Next time I will make it more describing the fireworks a bit more of how did it sound like.

My reflection about the fireworks : My teachers were holding up some sparkles the sparkles were colden and they were moving fast. While you were holding the sparkles you could move it any tip of angle you wanted. The sparkles smelt like smoke like gunpowder.We were doing this for Guy Fawkes.

  

Postcard 2

Today we were learning how we can designing a postcard. we were aloud to post it to who ever we wanted to but I did it to my friend Tilly.

I found it easy to find the correct background that will look like I was under water.I also found ti easy to find a good shark that will look like it was under water.I also found it easy to remove the background.

I found it hard to take a photo of myself because it was hard to do the angle to get my whole body in the photo to look like I was swimming.

Next time I will make the post stamp more detailed and I will have a bit more information in my writing.Next time I will also have some fish in their till it is more detailed.

   

The names of colors in maori

Today we were learning about how we can teach you about the colours in maori.

I found it easy to understand the video what our teacher put up for   us to learn about what color means in   what.

I found it hard to write down the colors in maori because I had to keep going back and forward to know how to write it.

Next time I will have separate slides for all the different colors.

My relfrition from high jump

Today we were learning about how we can do high jump on athletics day. We were also learning how we can do scissor kick when we jump over the bur.

I found it easy to chose which side i was good from running from and to learn how to do the scissor jump.

I found it hard to land my landing when I jump over the bur because I just kept on falling down.

Next time I will try not to fall of the mat and not hurt myself because that hurt.

My reflection:I learnt that we should always do a scissor kick not a dive or anything because you will not make to the finail for doing that. I now know my leasen is to not jump to late. I know that you have to run very fast and then swing your arms up and do your scissor kick to get over the bur because it lifts you up.

Post card

Today we were learning about how we can keep safe on the internet and creating a postcard of what we did in the holidays.

I enjoyed designing the post stamp with polyline and all of the colors.

I found it easy to find a perfect photo that will go with the photo of me.

I found it hard to take the photo because I could not take the photo with my whole body.

Next time I will try and make it look like its real.

My reflection from bikes and school

Today we were learning about...How to do a better reflicion about bikes in school.

I found it easy to...do the bike cheek before we started riding because we had do that so we do not have any problems while we are riding.

I found it hard to...Look over my shoulder and see if anyone was coming so I could past because when I look over my shoulder I get a pit wobbly 

Next time I will... Be more confident to look over my shoulder and then pass people.

My Reflection: My reflection is I learnt what we need to do before we ride a bike.A means ari in the wheels,B means breaks work,C mens oli on the chan,D means direction and Q means quick aggast for the chair.I also learnt to ride on the left side of the path so we can let people past and always look over your right shoulder to see if anyone is coming by before you pass someone so their does not create trafik .

Ten reasons that make a good recount and my goals for term 4

We were reminding each other about what can make a good recount,I was working with Danil who was my buddy.We had to right down ten things that will make a good recount.I was happy to have a lot of information it my head before I started so I can right that straight on the doc.

Ten reasons that make a good recount

1.Have rich power words by taking out the boring words.

2.Have it shorter not longer but have power words.

3.Have paragraphs,1,2,3 planing.  

4.Have parts like what did it look like,what did it sound like,what did it feel like and what did it taste like.

5.Have good describing words.

6.Have capital letters at the start of a sentence.

7.Have full stops at the end of a sentence.

8.Something that has happened recently.

9.Have five ideas in a paragraph.

10.Have what,when,who and where.

I need to improve my writing skills with power words not boring words.My goal this term is to not be shy in everything but have a loud voice.

Term 3 wrap

Today we had free time because it was the last day of term 3.I made a term 3 wrap.on the term 3 wrap it is all of the stuff we did fun this year.We did a kapa haka performance,a hangi,we went to Wild Lab and had the Awapuni School Fun Run.My favirote event was the fun run because you got covered in colorful powder.My least favirote was Wild Lab because we got wet from the rain.

My scratch game

Today we were learning about how we can make an scratch animation on scratch.My work is showing that we need to kill all these other animals that are pests to keep our native birds safe.

I found it easy to make the backdrops change in the codes.I also found it easy to help other people by telling them what they could do,I liked doing the backdrops.

I found it hard to make the boy move and to make the gun shot but that was a fail because I did not know how to do that.I also found it hard to understand other people when they told me what I should do to there scratch game.

Next time I will make the bunny and the bat and the rabbit move,not just the boy.

Native school birds to attract

Today we were learning about how we were creating a google drawings about how we can attract birds  into our school grounds playgrounds and gardens but we were trying to make native birds come into our school.

I found it easy to polyline the trees with different tools and interesting good images that will look good to go with my playground.

I found it hard to to insert a image that i wanted because sometimes it would say 'this image can not enter to this goggle drawing I also found it hard to decide witch background would go with the garden the colors were out of light blue or dark blue.

Next time I will add more birds into my goggle drawing because this was meant to be how to attract birds.I will also make another bird bath that will have sugar water is well as fresh water.

New Zealand Birds

 Today we were learning about native birds and endemic birds and introduced birds.We were finding out the meaning of the words,and learning about New Zealand birds.

I found it easy to polyline my bird witch was a parrot.I found it easy to listen to the video and write down what it said but in my own words.

I found it hard to work with my group and tell them what we could do next.I also found it hard to learn about the endemic and learn about what it is and what is it about the birds.

Next time I will help my group with there work of them polyline and I will add more information about the endemic.

Rangi and Papa story

Today me and my corptive group were doing a story about Rangi and Papa.They have 6 kids there names are,Tangaroa,Haumia,Tane,Rongo,Tu and Tawhirimatea.But they lived in the dark altogether and all crapped.I found it easy to write about the gods.I found it hard to agree with my group and polyline the gods.Next time I will add more detail to the gods and I will get it finish before the last day of term.

Is the environment our responsibility/Animation

Today we were making an animation about how we can keep the environment safe.My animation is showing that some fish are eating the plastic in the ocean.The animals will just die when they eat the plastic.Let's keep all of these living creatures alive,so we can go on an adventure every day to see all of the living creatures.

 Today we were learning how to persuade someone about the environment,Is the environment our resbosipelty?It is not good to litter any plastic because that rubbish will go into the drain and down the pipe and into the ocean.When it is in the plastic is in the ocean some living creatures will swim up to the  plastic and will eat the plastic.When there in plastic in the ocean all of that plastic will wash up to the shore line and then the seals and birds will eat the plastic of get tangled up in the plastic.Lets keep the world beautiful and clean,let's help :)

Grace is interviewing me

Today for Maninakaline maih we had to find a buddy in our corpitive group to work with and I worked with Grace.Grace was interviewing me.She was asking me what my favorite hobby is and I said soccer.

First Mrs Williams set up a google doc and we had to fill out the stuff about our hobby and why we liked and how we got into it .We had to do a screencastify about it on a video.My buddy Grace did not want to be in the video but she still is.My favorite part was when Grace interviewed me and I answered the questions,I also liked telling you guys what I like.I hope you liked it :)

My Hobbies

On this slide it is showing you what my hobbies are.I love to run and I love to eat sushi because it is my favorite food,I even learnt how to make sushi.I also love sleeping because it is just that time that you can relax and calm down and have great dreams.I love surfing because you get outside in the nice hot sunshine and I play in the waves.I love gymnastics because you get to learn these really cool moves on the ground and on bars.I love going to the mall because there is so much interesting things to see and buy.I love tv because you can watch movies and youtube and you can sometimes learn about new stuff on some shows.I love presents because it is always a mystery of what your going to get you never no you could get a PS5.I love Rainbows End because there is so many rides you can choose from,like there are some scary rides and there are some boring and there are awesome rides.I like Mcdonalds because there is so much food you can choose from,there are so much different flavors of drinks I really like the burges,I like the cheese burgers. Pohutukawa Group

 Today we had to created a book with our little group.My group was called Pohutukawa.First we had to make 5 slides for each of us one for the title is well.The video is about Scratch.On my slide there is a link to Scratch so you can go and cheek it out.For me it was a bit hard to make the slides portrait because that is what we had to have.In my group my there names where Grace,Baxtor,Lory and Me Tiana.I hope you like our slides :)

How you can be a bucket filler

 I made slides telling you how you can fill  someone's bucket everyone has a invisible bucket but you can't see it.A bucket dipper is when you be mean to someone there bucket will tip and sometimes you will have no water in your bucket :(

Hi my name is Tiana and I am 9 years old and I go to Awapuni School.My mums name is Anita and my  dad's name is Ash.I was born in Auckland in  Pukekohe and I was living there for 4 years.Now I moved to Gisborne.
